Thank you for your interest in volunteering! We welcome churches, corporate groups, and other social organizations to get involved at Pathways:
Providing and Serving a Meal
The easiest (and most impactful) way for groups of volunteers to engage with the organization is by providing and serving a meal, along with plates, utensils, and drinks. Food must be cooked before arrival, as volunteers are not allowed to use Pathways' cooking equipment. You are welcome to use the steam table to keep food warm.
We invite groups to sign up on a one-time or recurring basis to provide dinner for our 30-35 shelter residents. Dinner volunteer opportunities are available every day, including holidays.
Pathways serves dinner at 6:00 pm each evening. Volunteers are asked to arrive by 5:30 with the meal. You can choose to stay and serve plates to our guests from 6:00-6:30pm, or you may simply drop off the dinner for our staff to serve.
Please reach out if you have any questions!
Special Group Project
Pathways occasionally has a need for a group of volunteers to help brighten our facility. It might be painting a room, organizing in-kind donations, or cleaning up in and around the building. We don't always have a need for groups, but if you're interested, let us know and we'll be sure to keep you in mind when the needs arise. Due to the small size of our spaces, we are unable to accommodate groups of more than 8 people.
*Due to certain grant restrictions, all volunteers must be at least 14 years old. Children 14-17 must be accompanied by an adult or group leader.
