Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Pathways! Groups have a couple of ways to get involved:
Providing and Serving a Meal
The easiest (and most impactful) way for groups of volunteers to engage with the organization is by providing and serving a meal, along with plates, utensils, and drinks. Food must be cooked before arrival, as volunteers are not allowed to use Pathways' cooking equipment. They can use the steam table to keep food warm, though.
Lunch and dinner are served daily, weekends and holidays included.
- Lunch: 11:30am-1:00pm (need enough food for at least 65)
- Dinner: 6:00pm-6:30pm (need enough food for 30-35)
Groups are allowed to arrive up to 1 hour before the meal is served. Volunteers who bring meals are encouraged to eat with the women and children after serving them if there is enough food.
Special Group Project
Pathways occasionally has a need for a group of volunteers to help brighten our facility. It might be painting a room, organizing in-kind donations, or cleaning up in and around the building. We don't always have a need for groups, but if you're interested, let us know and we'll be sure to keep you in mind when the needs arise.
*Due to certain grant restrictions, all volunteers must be at least 14 years old. Children 14-17 must be accompanied by an adult or group leader.
