New Beginnings Overview
Pathways' New Beginnings provides rapid re-housing and supportive services for homeless families. Through the program, Pathways provides rental and utility assistance to 16 homeless women with children for up to 12 months. Participants are given individualized case management, and are encouraged to complete Invest In You, an educational program offered by Pathways, during their participation in the program. In addition, guests receive assistance to obtain, maintain, and are encouraged to increase income while in the program.
Do You Qualify?
1. Are you a single female with full custody of your children?
2. Are you living in an emergency shelter or on the streets?
If your answer is "yes" to the two questions above, please contact a New Beginnings social worker by phone at 322-6854. Ask for Kimberly Shobe or LaKeshia Elston.
Pathways is looking to build relationships with landlords and apartment complexes who are willing to be flexible and work with the guests in our program. For more information, please call 322-6854 and ask to speak to a New Beginnings social worker and ask for Kimberly Shobe or LaKeshia Elston.
